I woke up today sad because I had to leave this wonderful country of Jamaica. But as a farewell thing, we went back to The Coronation Markets again and he let me buy some exotic fruit for my family. I also gave him a souvenir my hometown in America. Donall drove me to the airport. We unloaded my bags and I hugged him and granted him said goodbye. Walking into the airport was hard for me. I couldn’t believe the trip I just experienced. The trip felt like it went by so fast. I solemnly walked to the ticket and bag check, went through security and still couldn’t get Donall out of my head. He was so great to me and was such a joy to be around. I will never forget him and if i ever visit back to Jamaica, i will make sure to see him. As I get on the plane, the captain says buckle up, which reminds me of all the fun car rides i had with Donall, all of the pictures of amazing and exotic animals and plants I saw on the roads. As the plane ascends into the air, I looked out my plane window and took one last glance at the beautiful island of Jamaica.

Jamaica Day 1
When I got to my hotel i knew this trip would be good. While I was riding the taxi my hotel, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Today I went to morant point to see some beautiful views of the sea and the famous light house.(pic) When I got back to my hotel for about an hour then woke up almost forgetting about my tour guide Donall. He was waiting for me when I came down from my hotel room. I apologised about the late notice, he was ok and was waiting for about 10 minutes. He looked excited to show me around his “gorgeous home land” as he says. The Coronation Markets were where we were headed. The markets were packed with fresh good of all kind, meat, fruits, and vegetables. At the market i purchased some goods for later. After we left the market went for a drive around parts of the island. The Scenery was absolutely gorgeous. While we were driving around the island, tropical birds were everywhere you looked. I even got a shot of a tropical toucan. After the Ride around the island, Donall dropped me off at my hotel and I went up to my room and went right to sleep, prepared for another great day of going around Jamaica.

Jamaica Intro
Jamaica, one of the most interesting countries in the world. Other names for Jamaica are Xaymaca, and Santiago. Jamaica was the Country that Christopher Columbus discovered in 1494. In 1962 It became an independent nation, separating from Great Britain. The climate of Jamaica is typically hot, it ranges 90 F to 40 F. Rain comes seasonally, so it is very hot in Jamaica. Jamaica’s national language is English, but other European languages are spoken there like French, and Spanish for example. One interesting language spoken in Jamaica is Jamaican creole, which is a very distinct language. It is a derivative of english but various dialects make it sound the way it does. One of Jamaica’s main economic markets are cash crops being coffee and sugar. Marijuana is also illegally grown and the U.S. has made an antidrug program that has stopped the illegal shipping to Europe and the U.S.
